Flexibility and choice are important when investing in images that will last a lifetime, and you should not only expect it, you should demand it…which is one reason I don’t like to create cookie cutter packages. Everyone is unique, so why not make your package unique!

Your Investment

For the majority of the portrait sessions I do, there is no sitting or “creative” fee–packages are based on minimum purchase levels.  From the images that we create together, you can pick as many or as few as you want, in any of the wide range of sizes and products offered. You’ll have favorites that you will want to get prints or other products made from, and this approach allows you to pick from more of those favorites. Maybe you want to display a 30″x40″ metal standout of a certain image on your mantel and want to send a traditional 8″x10″ of a different one to family members, and one of just the kids for your desk–no problem you can do that. All images that are selected for prints/products will go through a retouching process to remove blemishes/imperfections and provide any special creative treatments.

I know lives can get hectic and time is a premium, so I don’t charge extra for night or weekend appointments.

High School Senior and Individual Portraits

Typical high school senior or individual portrait session lasts 1-2.5 hours and include time creating your unique images both at the studio and on location. I also offer extended, experiential packages which last longer and include professional hair and make-up. For most sessions, I don’t charge extra for splitting time between studio and location (provided the location is within 10 miles of the studio–which covers most of Bend). Splitting studio and location time may result in slightly fewer images or clothing changes.

High school senior session start at $99 for an emergency session, regular sessions range from $395 to $2000+ for a full day experience and new iPad to show off the images we create together. The average senior investment is between $395-$500. I take care of sending your yearbook selection to your schools yearbook staff so you don’t have to worry.

Individuals portrait session range from under $200 to $2000+ for a full day experience.

Family Portraits

Family portraits sessions begin at $495 and typically last 1-1.5 hours. Session fees are also based on a minimum purchase. These session can happen in studio or on location, or both. Family sessions will include not only whole family groupings, but also smaller groupings (for example: kids only, mom and kids, dad and kids, kids and grandparents, grand kids and grandparents, etc).

More of what you can expect when we work together:

  • All session include a pre-shoot consultation. During this consultation, we can get to know each other and I can find out things about you/your families interests, activities and needs so we can craft a plan to create images that are uniquely you.
  • All prints and products are processed through professional printing companies specializing in photo processing for professional photographers, so you know you’re getting the highest-quality, most consistent and longest-lasting product.
  • All standard prints come with a linen surface finish included (even the small ones).
  • All prints 8″x10″ and larger come mounted on an 2mm styrene board to help preserve your keepsake (this option is also available for smaller prints if desired).
  • A wide variety of products beyond traditional paper prints. These include (but are definitely not limited to) metal prints, canvas, softwraps, standouts, custom collages, greeting cards, bookmarks and albums. For you athletes out there, I can also do custom trading cards and posters. And models–or aspiring ones–if you’re looking for something special, I can help you design your own comp cards, personal portfolio or even a web site.
